Chapter 1: Caspar

Being dead has its perks: scaring the shit out of people, that's one that Caspar knows for sure is the best, especially since he's Death's personal Soul Keeper. But there is one problem with being dead: you can't talk, especially not as the Soul Keeper.

But when Caspar is faced with taking the soul of Alix, a teenage boy who committed suicide, he hesitates. But when they meet in Limbo, beneath Earth, they are faced with one problem: they know each other.

How could Caspar possibly take the last remaining humanity from his ex-lover? If it meant the best for both of them, he surely would.
