There was nothing Chishiya enjoyed more than using other people to his advantage; the thrill of predicting others, reading them like stupid, open books, made his heart beat a little faster than usual.
If someone piqued his interest, he'd find a way to keep them alive. For the time being. Until he ultimately lost any use for them and left them to die with everyone else.

He thought of it as the perfect self preservation tactic.
