the doors

i was a young girl living in a village located at the border of the Alpha Centauri A system. not far over my village was a forest with a old wooden doors. every two years these doors would open and someone would be chosen to go through the doors. legend had it that it leads to a place called pandora but nobody really knows, only the people that enter do and they never come back.
