The Start

Humans always reached for the stars, the world glowed brighter in the vastness of the universe. They stop all innovation and progress to move upwards, reaching for the clouds and beyond, a tower piercing the horizon. The ones who live on the tower hope for a future full of divinity for the human race, passing bricks and supplies to the floors above, a chain reaction to the top floors still under construction. What happens to the curious souls who wish for something other than their mundane life? will they travel to the top to reach, or descend and be humbled by an ecosystem that doesn't even need them?
