Chapter 1: The Girly Bot

Forest James is a normal girl with an unexpecting story. Her having unnatural elemental powers of ice. Now moving to San Fransokyo with her depressed mother, she lives a daydream when meeting Hiro Hamada when participating in illegal bot fighting. Wanting their relationship to be more than mere acquaintances, Forest tries all the ways she can to see him again. That includes putting Hiro and herself in danger when Forest's abusive ex comes back from New York.
