Carina knew there was a sort of sadness behind Maya's eyes even as she held her little boy in her arms during the happiest day of her life. Carina knew because there was that same ache in her chest. When she looked at her kids she couldn't help but imagine how proud her brother would've been of her and how much it would've meant to him to meet their bambinos. She knows just as she wished Andrea would've been there in that moment, Maya wished Mason had too.
