Danielle Faye Young is one of the players in the DLSU Lady Spikers. She's a student who aspires to be a reporter or journalist someday and a student who loves to read. When she has the time to do so, she drives more than ten minutes to the National Library of the Philippines.

She then meets Jan Riguel Uy, a basketball player from ADMU Blue Eagles, who has already been interested in her since before. He takes that as an opportunity to talk with his long-time, volleyball crush.
