Ken Devore is a lawyer in London. However, his bag is legally aided work, in which he defends the actions of deeply unpleasant people. He's not bad at it either. But when a racist, sexist, far Right local politician becomes one of his clients, he finds himself confronted with the question - how do you defend such horrible people, and how do you ensure that the truth will out without becoming that which you so hate?
