For all the beauty that Poppy Meadow had to offer, it was still a place rife with danger. Venus flytraps, frogs, and even other bugs, along the rumors of monsters that dwell beyond the meadow hedge. For a young bee to be out alone in it would be perilous.

Luckily for a certain bee in particular, a chance encounter with a crane fly during her first journey out into the meadow will set in motion a grand adventure as she learns where she belongs.

And for a certain crane fly, he will learn what it means to take on the role of a guardian. And what it means to truly care about someone.
