Chapter 1-Oh no Monday, March 31, 2013

I swear, I decided to let loose with my boyfriend, Derek, and it's just BAD news. Now look what happened! I'm pregnant at sixteen! I don't have a clue on how to raise a child, but I do know it takes a lot of work. Now I am going to have to get a job. Work harder at school. Tell my boyfriend AND my parents about this unexpected blessing. Oh, how I wonder how they'll take it. I REALLY hope they don't abandon me in the end. I need all of the support that I can get right now.

One thing for sure is that I don't regret anything. I love Derek and I love our unborn baby. I'll do everything in my power to take care of it. But can I do it? Can I be a good mother at sixteen? I'm Melina Martinez, but people calls me Melly. This is my story.
