There have been different theories about how Rachel died at the end of Angels of Death. Some people say that obviously, Zack kept his promise and escaped from the police and killed Rachel then got away. However, there have been other known theories of what might've happened, one of the biggest theories is that Zack didn't really kill Ray. She could have been in shock from the news that Zack was given the death sentence, she hallucinated the whole thing about Zack breaking through the window, and coming back to kill her. So she could've been the one that broke the window herself and committed suicide without even knowing what she was doing. Or this next theory that resulted in many fanfic's just like this one, at the last minute Zack didn't kill Rachel, he broke her out of that nut house and they escaped together rewriting their fates. But again, these are many possible theories that many people of the fandom had came up with. So I'm just bringing you another fanfic. What do you think really happened between Zack and Rachel? Could there have been an unspoken attraction? Or no? And if there was a spark between them, what happened? (FYI, I do NOT own the art or the anime itself!)
