Description
Taehyung and Jungkook shook hands after two decades of being rivals. Now they are on the 'neutral ground' and it's not enough for any of them. Taehyung comes back to Seoul after three months, when the new season for the racers is about to begin, and the only reason he's back is to see Jungkook and Yeeun. Since Taehyung realized it was never Jungkook he truly hated, he's been away, trying to find a path for himself. The terrifying but only possible solution: quit racing. He needs to find something that will make him good enough, and everything he's done so far in life was useless. When at the first race they get an opportunity to take part in the infamous Japan Race, the event every racer wants to be a part of at least once, Taehyung cannot possibly refuse. So he promises himself it will be his last go at racing, while he fixes his life. It's not that easy. Letting go of racing isn't easy, and finding something else that Taehyung would be passionate about isn't easy, and managing his first relationship experience while becoming comfortable with his identity isn't easy. The hardest of them all is making up with Jungkook, but Taehyung, feeling the constant pull, cannot give up. It isn't easy for Jungkook either. He's always been desperate for the wins, and he worries the fight for the spot in the Japan Race will mess up any chances he has at making up with Taehyung. The more he tries, the more impossible it seems, with more and more issues popping up to stop them. Jungkook, who was hoping for a peaceful season, learning to navigate his new relationship with Yeeun, his lifelong best friend, feels like everything is only getting worse. At some point, neither Jungkook nor Taehyung believe they could be anything else than enemies.
