Prologue

"Let us make a contract." the woman breathed out with great effort.

The creature stared at her blankly, looming over her like a shadow.

"I will give you a part of me and in return." She grunted in pain.

"And in return, help me bring a god into this world."

The creature tilted its head, a moment later, it gave a slow nod and took hold of her.

"Very well." Said a eerie voice in a hushed whisper, the woman smiled and closed her eyes to never open them again.
