Prologue (I)

Years upon years have passed since the servamps lost their eves. All of the servamps were effected but 2 took this loss especially hard.

Sleepy Ash, who'd never lost an eve before, let alone one he'd loved so painfully.

Lawless, who'd made the mistake of falling in love with his eve again, maybe even harder.

...but maybe saying their eves are gone forever isn't really accurate.
