Chapter One

Charlotte Drew's life changed forever after her mother's sudden death. Grief ridden, she took a year off from school to stay at home with her dad as they learn to cope with the loss. Charlotte relies on boyfriend Michael and best friend Rae to adjust to her new life without her mother. But when Michael's relatives are in town she somehow feels inexplicably drawn to his cousin Liam, whom she's never met before. The lines between right and wrong, and truth and myth begin to blur... Unsure of what to do next, Charlotte follows Liam against her better judgment. He seems to hold the answers to her questions, but is she willing to pay the price for them?
