We all have problems. Some more serious than others. Violet's problem was being the problem child. Violet was a trouble maker; she got into trouble all the time. Her boyfriend being in a gang didn't help either. I knew my twin was going downhill. I'm not sure what could help her at this point. The drugs and alcohol was her novocaine. What was mine? One of the most feared guys in our city. I couldn't talk about Violet's boyfriend too much because I was dealing with a gang member too. I was dealing with the boss. He was different though. He wasn't as scary and crazy as people said. He had his own problems too. That's why we got along so well. I was the first person he called at night when the nightmares came along. He had some serious demons he was facing. He was mine, and I was his novocaine.
