School and home were Rossiya's personal hell, so when a man with peculiar eyes shows at at her school claiming to be a friend of her deceased parents and that she is the sole heir of their fortune; she all but jumps at the opportunity of a better life. However she has no clue that opportunity came with throwing her into a world that was only supposed to exist in fairytales and folklore. But before she could even get her bearings fate flipped her the bird by pairing her with none other than the cold and lonely God; Hades. In most cases it would've been happily ever after but things become difficult when your own mate can't even stand the mere smell of you. There is no creature, living or undead, mortal or supernatural that loathes the idea of their other half; well except Hades. Because unlike everyone else he knows what she is; which isn't even the main reason for his hostility. His heart was taken from him once and as cold as he is, the god doesn't want to go down that road again. If he could avoid the issue of a mate or queen altogether he would, they both would. However, circumstances force the two together. A marriage of convenience, purely for the benefit of the literal world. But whether or not the sword hanging above their heads will bring them together or tear them apart is up to them. But nothing good is ever easy, and their adversaries will make sure of it.
