•The Golden Guard, right hand man of Emperor Belos, has been taught that wild witches are nothing but evil.

One night, while on patrol, he happens to catch eye of a cloaked thief.

It turns out the thief didn't only steal objects, but hearts as well.

"Hey, Silver?" The Guard asked, turning his head to look at me. "Why do you steal stuff? It doesn't make sense."

I felt a small thrum of trust in that moment, something I doubted I'd ever feel. Especially towards him of all people.
