She does everything from white-water rafting to NASCAR racing, but her excitement filled life is just the tip of the iceberg. Ava Mills, a seventeen year old, spends her days in a small town of Virginia, cooped up in her bedroom, crying over the loss of her father. Leonard Ford, forty-six and counting, dots on his mother, who doesn't recognize him, and tries to keep his anger controlled in his body.
