Hephaestus was the most powerful God.

The God of fire.

He possessed the power of the Phoenix or as others call it the 'War Ender.'
Before his death he claimed that his powers would be passed on ONCE for all of eternity.

Those powers were passed onto an unsuspecting Faerie named Aliera, who now is unknowingly the most powerful Faerie alive. Having lived her entire life a lie and suffering from the repercussions those lies held she runs into a Shadowsinger, a Spymaster.
