Prologue

Dahlia Miller has her life planned out. Graduate high school, go to Stanford, have a family. She has it down to the colour of her house.

But all that changes in an instant.

When Dahlia, her friends, and her family are forced into a situation with no escape and no explanation, they fight to free the people of San Francisco. With unlikely allies and shocking enemies, their journey won't be easy. They'll have to fight. Not everyone will make it. And for the ones who do, their future is suddenly uncertain. It will take unity to win--the problem is, that's what they're being deprived of.
