She goes to Midtown high where she has a great *eyeroll* relationship with Flash. Peter the Parker is her best guy friend. (She knows his secret.) Loki is the same age as Peter in maturity, and an instant friendship forms. So of course the Avengers send him to Midtown so Peter can keep an eye on him.
