PART 1: THE DECEIT (Ch. 1-8) Galadriel is drawn to Halbrand's darkness, and he to her light. The pull towards one another becomes irresistible while he recovers in Eregion from his near-fatal wound. A kiss leads to far more between them, until they have forged a bond, at least in part, that cannot be broken...even when Halbrand's deceit is revealed and they both long to destroy the ties that now bind them. PART 2: THE BINDING (Ch. 9-?) Galadriel cannot escape the shame of having shared her bed and body with her mortal enemy. Sauron heads to Mordor, believing that his dream of redemption is lost. But the last blade of Mairon reunites them amid circumstances that require they pretend to be a crownless king and his warrior queen. For that to work, however, only truth can exist between them - the greatest of which is that there can be no redemption unless they complete the bond that they began.
