In the world of Wonderland, magic is forbidden. One particular type of magic--clockwork magic--turns people into obedient zombies by replacing their hearts with clockwork. Clockwork magic can also be used to create artificial people.

On the outside, the Kingdom of Roses seems to be doing fine. However, the King of Roses--the king of this kingdom--is actually an artificial person who has been created for a sinister purpose. There will be conspiracies, tragedies, but an eventual happy ending...
