Description
(Book 2) How do you catch a vampire serial killer? Castor Vale is chasing ghosts when he hunts down a murderous vampire bleeding his victims dry. As a newly turned vampire himself, he's treading into unfamiliar, dangerous territory. Not to mention, he's the first wizard of their kind in centuries. Forced to work as a vampire hunter for the Sanguine Council, he tries his best to find the answers they desire, but he can tell their frustration is mounting with each new dead body uncovered. Nobody knows whether they should admire or fear the magic he possesses, and not even Castor is sure what side he's fighting for anymore.
