Prologue

Her soft sobs increased as I drew nearer to her. Which prompted me to move more quickly near her. As soon as I reached her, I stopped when she did. She attempted to wipe away the tears that flowed, but I could see the terror dancing in her beautiful eyes. I reached out to touch her cheek without realizing what I was doing, but she simply retreated. Not allowing me to approach her any closer.
