John has hidden his power for the last 2 years, fearing the monster he'll become. Somehow him, Sera, and Arlo are brought into the world of Greek myths the same way Percy was first escorted to camp. They try to find their missing classmates, Remi, Blyke, and Isen. In the meantime, the camps are preparing for their war. Annabeth is skeptical of these newcomers, but Nico tries to help John embrace his long-hated ability, in hopes that he and his friends can help with the final battle.
