Adeline Murdoch | Janurary 14th, 1879 | Part One

Convinced she's troubled, Adeline Murdoch's parents ship her off to a prestigious boarding school for young ladies out in the country side of Australia, in the prime year of 1879. Women had nothing to protect their name but the terms of 'housewife' or 'maid', possibly a nun. Women's rights were scarce as was their quality in life. Adeline was only 13 years old when she was first assaulted, in the very place sworn to protect her, and as much as she hated the idea of obeying the rules of an old duchess, her trauma seemed to follow her everywhere she went back home. She obliged to go ahead with her parents plan, and soon enough she was lined up outside of a bleak room, her luggage hauled in behind her.

As she had predicted, the days seemed to drag on, etiquette was a bore, and the thought of providing to her future husbands every need made her feel sickly. She soon found herself struggling with her mental health, as her life seemed to be closing in on her, strangling her breath and squeezing her into society's expectations of a 17 year old girl. Little did she know her entire life was about to change, all because of one girls smile that made her heart soft and unhinged...
