Description
The expectations and reality of deen and Dunya. Zaynah Jamal, 19-year-old Muslim Girl, who try's her hardest to follow her deen and not stray from the right path as her friends and social media influences her every move not allowing her to see right from wrong. She struggles to make sense of her life and along the way she finds out she is slowly falling for a 20-year-old non-Muslim man Isaac who puts her mind at ease and makes her heart skip every time she sees him. They slowly become closer as they get to know each other overcoming difficulties together in hope of working their way up to marriage. However, religion and acceptance come as barriers to their relationship. Will Zaynah stray to the path of Dunya, or will she stick to her deen? Assalm dear readers, this is my first story so there will be mistakes i would also like to apologize if it seems fast paced. It will be much appreciated if you could tolerate it and give me your honest comments. I would like you to keep in mind that the characters do not represent actual Muslims and I have tried my best to include traces of Islam in my story but please bear with me if it doesn't seem really Islamic.
