Nick Navarro is a police detective investigating human traffickers in the city of Los Angeles. His world is turned upside down when he crosses paths with a mysterious teenage girl with the apparent ability to control animals and make them do whatever she wishes.

Together with a Melody Romero, a passionate social worker, and a large Sarloo wolf dog named Haku they comb the gritty streets of LA looking to find the men responsible for a spree of kidnappings of underage girls.
