Description
Tech billionaire Blake Reeves moves into a secluded gated community for the rich and famous. He soon discovers that many members of the community take part in the owning of strange creatures called hybrids--animals with human traits, including walking and talking. Pets have the perfect lives, with no work, all play, and lots of love from everyone around them, as long as they can meet their owners' needs. Confronted with the yawning loneliness of his empty new mansion, he decides to adopt one of his own. Morgan is a shark hybrid who doesn't want to be here. If he had it his way, he and his beloved bunny hybrid companion would run far away from here and make a life of their own, but human society isn't ready for his mouth full of knives, fin ears, and six-foot tail, or so the Tamer tells him. He and Blake meet, and he thinks that they may be able to work together in the hidden society of Shadowville. **Second draft of a story I published two years ago!
