NOTE

Playboy Derek Matthew, true to his nature, made yet another foolish decision: spending his tuition on a trip to the Maldives with friends and his now ex-girlfriend.
When Derek's parents discover his irresponsible actions, he attempts to charm them into covering his expenses and providing additional financial support for his education. Unfortunately for Derek, his older sister steps in and firmly insists that he take responsibility for his actions, refusing to bail him out.

In a fit of desperation, Derek decides to rent out the extra room in his apartment. Derek then posted an ad for it.
A response to the ad led to the arrival of Rubis Bluestone, a spontaneous individual who exuded an air of mystique.
Their differences were striking, and their personalities clashed. Rubis lived life with the whimsy of a leaf in the wind. Derek's life was a kaleidoscope of color, filled with spontaneous adventures and half-packed suitcases ready to go at any moment, yet something clicked. They were odd individuals, no doubt, but there was an inexplicable synergy that began to develop between them.

Nights became the most enchanting hours in their shared apartment. After a few glasses of wine, Rubis would loosen up, sharing stories of his beautiful life that Derek found equally intriguing and humorous. Derek, in turn, would regale Rubis with tales of his globetrotting adventures and philosophies on life, which seemed to defy gravity. These late-night tête-à-têtes became their secret favorites, which they both looked forward to.

However, beneath Rubis' amiable facade, a mystery lingers. Derek cannot shake the feeling that there is more to Rubis than meets the eye, but Rubis remains closed off, unwilling to reveal his true self.
