Chapter One: The Dawn Slayer

It is said she came from the gods, the horror She was. She was hewn from the black coal of dead fire trees, wings as a hurricane-teeth like swords and her scales a shield impenetrable.

This is the story of a great beast called Darkfury, the Dawn Slayer, and how she did that even if she is big and scary, she can find love in tendrils.
