Author's note

"Hi, my name is Janine Miller and this is my story." She used to think she was beautiful, until one day, she posted a picture of herself. People made negative comments about the darker patches on her skin, but she didn't care, she continued uploading. It really got to her, given that at school they made fun of her copious amount of pimples and her patches. So she stopped socializing and used long-sleeved shirts. One day, her high school announced that for the school year, homework and studying will be done digitally, while classes remained face-to-face. There was an anonymous chat system, where every student was there. But who was who?
