Tarrance Blake, Finney and Gwen's father, is very religious, and so when Finney's telekinetic abilities start to become prominent after he's invited to prom by someone with a much better reputation then himself.

Things start to go down hill for Finney.

𝐁𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐞 𝐘𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐚 is the boy that invited Finney to prom, Bruce truly did like Finney, which is why he offered to take Finney to prom.

Finney despite his insecurity, goes with Bruce and the night is quite fun, Bruce and Finney even win Prom king and queen!
