But when she goes searching for answers, she makes an unexpected discovery: she may be the only Starborn, but she's far from alone. One by one, Audrey meets Wishes: people who owe their existence to a stolen wishing star. For the first time in her life, she's surrounded by friends who understand her in a way no one else can. But to hold on to this newfound sense of belonging, Audrey will have to accept a destiny she never could have expected. The Wishes are in danger, and a Starborn like Audrey might be the only one who can protect her new friends from those who seek to destroy them.
