I hadn't seen him in his skins ever since our first encounter. I was used his grey wolf watching me over the last week. Outside my window, outside of school, always in the trees. It was unsettling, and I had definitely become more a more wary person because of it. Sometimes I swear I could hear him growl whenever I was too close to a boy. But I could care less. I didn't understand this mate business, and he had made it a point that he wouldn't be explaining anything to me, by choosing his furs over skins. So I'd go on with life as usual. Hell, maybe I'd date. Because my supposed "mate" was always in his furs. - - - Winter Monroe and Josh Hallows have been best friends forever. Little did she know that he was keeping a secret from her, until one day he shifts into a giant wolf in front of her eyes. Winter can't help but be interested in everything he tells her, especially about the Elite Warriors. And then she meets one-- Reed Matthews, who just so happens to be her mate.
