Arani Jakal was not ready to be stranded on an unfamiliar planet, causing her whole life to change. But in the chaos, a friend or two popped up - seemingly from nowhere - wishing to help. Ari gladly accepted and quickly became part of a small town, where her best friend was the lawmaker. But like everything in life, the tranquillity faded and what was left was Sand Raiders and a Beast ready to destroy the town at any moment.

Then one day, while out visiting a friend in a nearby town, a Mandalorian appeared, looking for others of his kind. And while Ari did not personally know any other Mandos, she did know of someone who had Mandalorian armour. She led the bounty hunter to him, and they struck up a deal: death to the monster for the armour.

Alongside Arani, the two men enacted their plan, but nothing goes according to plan.
