Hinata Chikao, a 9 years old boy goes to the same school as the main character do, Teitan Elementary School. He is a very popular boy, seeing by how girls from all ages loves him, except for Haibara Ai.

However one day, a case involving him lead to the Detective Boys befriends him, just for Conan and Haibara to find out who he is.

"So you...loves me? Ever since, when?" she looks hopeless, why did she just realizes now?
"Used to be. I'm now confused with my feelings myself," he smiles, his eyes look dead.
