The Plan

Eddie and Markie are best friends - inseparable from the moment they met four years ago. She would do anything for Eddie, including pretending to date him to make Jason Carver so jealous he would break up with Chrissy Cunningham.

This is at least Eddie's wild plan to finally have a chance with Chrissy, and he does everything he can to convince Markie that it won't be weird, and that their friendship won't change. Markie wants to believe him, because her friendship with Eddie is the most important thing to her. They're just going to play pretend.
