She sighed dropping her gaze to the ground as her eyes welled up.
"Stop this Reyhan. You are scaring me. You are obsessed with uncovering the killer which is dangerous.. I...I keep feeling you will be.. next or something. I don't think I can take all this mystery anymore."

I tilted her chin upwards, as I gazed into her glassy brown eyes whispering,
"Don't think like that Iffah. Nothing will happen to me, I'm doing this for you, love. To keep you safe"

"And what about your safety Reyhan?" she asked looking up to meet my eyes with an intensity that spoke volumes of her fears.

I opened my mouth to reply her, to ease her fears but shut it instantly.
