They had always looked up to the Emperor; an entire race, united, within 50 years of rule? Astonishing! There was only one problem; every other member duelling that day had a genuine palisman staff. They did not. None of the palisman that day had reached out to them. What they didn't know, however, was that one peculiar guard found their style of fighting interesting, and wanted to learn more. But in the end, a fight can never be won if only by harsh tones and brute force.
