Chapter One

The worst fate for any young girl is to be chosen as a dragon sacrifice.
When Ann Marie is chosen and brought before the great dragon to be slaughtered, what she finds is not what she expects. Perhaps something more is taking place behind the stone walls of the keep.
If only she can stay alive long enough to prove it.
She can't afford to wait to be rescued. She must save herself, and what she finds in the dragon's keep may help her, as long as she can guard her heart and her mind and her life from the deadly dragon.
