Chapter 1

Westley, a young farm boy, must leave his poor village and make enough money on the high seas to marry the love of his life: Buttercup.
Aboard the ship, he encounters storms, poisons, and the Dread Pirate Roberts. If he is to return to his love, he must do what ever it takes to survive.

I wrote this as an assignment for my English class and ended up really liking it! We just finished reading The Odyssey, so this story is filled with an invocation from the muse, Homeric similes, epithets, Greek influences, and archetypal characters. Hope you guys enjoy!
