Chapter One: An Assassin is born

Taking place directly after A Gathering of Friends, North reunites with his old childhood friend, Aurelian aka Decimus. North returns to his duties as Vinview Champion while Aurelian picks up work within his organization; a sub-branch of the Security Crops dedicated to the silent takedown of high-priority targets. The two friends' fates intertwine, and Aurelian is left to wonder what side North will favor.
