Preface

She ran across the beach; sand flying from beneath her feet. The burn of the hot grains was an uncomfortable reminder that she was alive. A feeling she'd been missing. All the homework and stress made it hard to remember there was more to life than textbooks and pencils. But, he made her realize that she has to live while she's alive.
