It's summer 1962, Lebeau Louisiana. 16 year old Beyoncé comes from a sophisticated and wealthy Creole-African American family. Her parents Celestine (Beyincé) Knowles, and Matthew Knowles are two well-respected individuals in their predominantly Creole-American community.

Kelendria Rowland and her family, originally from Georgia, came to Louisiana to visit family during summer vacation.

The two manage to become super close during a short period of time. But just how close will they get?
