The method of sublimation is used to transfer colours to many kinds of textiles and materials. Using specialised sublimation ink and a sheet of paper that has been chemically treated, an image is made digitally using a programme like Photoshop. The transfer medium is then covered with this digital print. The picture will transfer onto the polymers in the transfer materials once heat and pressure are applied.
