Chapter 1: The Short Ranger

Amanda, a Ranger of the North was asked by Gandalf to join a quest to reclaim the lonely mountain from a Dragon. At first, Thorin was sceptical about her joining their quest. But along the way she proves her worth and loyalty. But it wasn't long before romance blossomed between Amanda and a certain black-haired archer in the group. Through trials the company will face, can they come out strong? Or will they break apart?
