"Thank you for your help, Ms. Hwang. You're officially free from all trials of law," Agent Kim announced loud enough for Jaeyun to hear.

That was all he needed to finally lift his head up and look at me. His gaze though, was nothing like before or ever. It was a stare of pure hatred and betrayal, a look you'd give to your biggest enemy.

"You fucking helped them?! Did I treat you that horribly during all of the years we were together?! Did you hate me that much?!" he yelled, wanting to attack me, but the police men were already holding him by the arms.
